We don't work from a fixed menu — every week our chefs cook eight different dishes from a rotation of more than 100. Even if you take them all, at least 12 weeks pass before a single dish repeats. You never know exactly what's coming — only that it's fresh, balanced and seriously good.

I'm Chris — and I cook your food myself.
I trained as a chef in England and then spent several years working in restaurants around London before moving into meal prep. That is where I saw for myself how much easier everyday life gets when good food is already done — especially with two small children at home.
The FoodBox started small but grew quickly through recommendations and word of mouth. A few portions for friends and family became a proper meal-prep business that now cooks fresh every week for customers all over Hannover.
What has not changed is the way I run it. The FoodBox is still personal, direct and close to the people we cook for. No anonymous mass production, no freezer warehouse — just proper food, freshly cooked, and a service that makes everyday life a little easier.

Do we deliver to you?
Free delivery within about 5 km of Hannover city centre. Outside that radius there's a small delivery fee — just ask.

What meals will I get?
There is no fixed menu — that's part of the fun! Just tell us your allergies or dislikes and let us surprise you. Every delivery brings fresh, seasonal meals with meat and veggie options, inspired by kitchens around the world. And so it never gets boring, we cook eight different dishes every week from a rotation of more than 100 — even if you take them all, it's at least 12 weeks before a single dish repeats.
Does the Foodbox work for working from home?
Perfectly. At lunch, pop a meal in the microwave for 2–3 minutes — and you eat properly instead of reaching for a sandwich or a delivery app. Sealed, the meals keep for at least 4 days in the fridge, so they'll easily carry you through the home-office week.
How big is a regular portion compared to XL?
Regular meals weigh roughly 450–700 g. XL portions are about 25% bigger — perfect if you're extra hungry or need more protein.
How do the REBOWL containers and the deposit work?
Every meal comes in a reusable REBOWL container with a €5 deposit. Hand the clean bowls back at your next delivery and we refund or offset the deposit.
Do you offer one-off orders or only a subscription?
We work with a subscription. Want to try first? Order once and pause right after. If you're not happy, you can cancel anytime with no strings attached.
Until when can I change or pause my order?
You can adjust or pause your order flexibly. Thursday: changes until Monday, 8:00 pm. Monday: changes until Friday, 8:00 pm.
